Have you thought about trying math workshop in your middle school math classroom, but aren’t sure where to start? Or have you tried math centers out, but want to make them more effective? The Making Math Workshop Work Course is a self-paced, online course that includes everything you need to know to get math workshop running smoothly in your classroom.

What is Included in the Course?

The course includes the following tools to help you get math workshop running efficiently in your math classroom:

• 5 self-paced units to help implement math workshop in grades 5-8. The course can be completed at your pace, on your time! You can choose to start the course now or in future school years. The following units are included:

  • What is Math Workshop?

  • Making Math Workshop Work

  • Getting Math Workshop Started

  • Managing Behavior

  • Prepping, Organizing, and Setting Up the Classroom

• 3 hours of video content, broken up into manageable chunks. The video lessons break down the different units listed above.

• 8 exclusive math games and activities for grades 5-8 (two for each grade level).

• Access to an exclusive Facebook Group with other teachers who have joined the course. This is a place to share ideas and get tips related to math workshop.

• Course Planner to help take notes and organize your math workshop plan.
